How: Okay, here's the story..a couple of weeks ago I got an e-mail from Kelly Magill, the publisher of Positively Green Magazine. She told me she was going to be on The Today Show and wanted to feature our Lemongrass Rosemary deodorant on an upcoming segment she was going to do. We were still in the middle of getting settled in from moving our whole operation from Bountiful to downtown Salt Lake City, so we didn't get on the case right away. Eventually we got a package together and sent it out, but only through regular mail. The day after we sent the package, Kelly gave us a call to say that she hadn't seen anything yet (because I had just sent the package) and she needed to get the products to the Today Show by Monday (it was Wednesday!) So, we rushed a package out to her for her review and rushed a package directly to The Today Show. (It was so cool to send a package to "30 Rockefeller Plaza") Kelly's segment on Friday will be all about "green" beauty products, and she's planning on featuring one of our deodorants! If you haven't already, check out Positively Green Magazine...she started it in 2007 and has grown it from a semi-annual publication to a quarterly. Ed Begley Jr. is on the editorial board and it is truly a stellar publication. I like it because it offers truly practical and simple information on living green that also saves money in the process (like how to seal your windows for winter, using pressure cookers, and blocking junk mail). Check out Positively Green Magazine and watch Kelly on Friday morning! We don't know the exact time she'll be on, but she told me it will be some time mid-show. We're going to get our hands on a copy of it and upload it to the website as soon as we can as well.
